New Enterprise Associates (NEA), a leading venture capital firm with over $6 billion in capital under management, needed help redesigning and enhancing their core business applications. In the VC industry, timely access to investment data is critical to the success of an investing firm. The current applications did not provide the firm with the ability to quickly store, retrieve, and disseminate vital financial information to partners, investors, and portfolio companies.
Through a series of meetings with the NEA executive management, Seva was able to help the firm understand how to best structure their data for quicker data-entry and reporting. Seva then set about the task of determining the gap between the existing systems and the firm’s future vision. With a team of project managers, programmers, and database designers, Seva redesigned and rebuilt the existing web-based applications to better meet the organization’s goal of providing their partners, investors, and companies with timely access to critical investment data.
