Christopher K. Long, Principal
Chris has over twenty-four years of progressive project management and application development experience across various platforms. Having served primarily in corporate management positions across a wide variety of industries, he lends a first-hand perspective that helps The Seva Group to always have our clients' interests in mind. In addition to providing strategic consulting services, his internal responsibilities include the management of relationships with clients, contract negotiations and the acquisition and management of Seva engagements.
Jon P. Byrd, Principal
Jon has over sixteen years of Information Systems experience, with responsibilities progressing from application programming and design to project and technical management. Previously a Technical Manager at Andersen Consulting and a corporate IT Technology Manager, Jon brings to the team strong experience with Internet and client/server architecture, Windows-based development, relational DBMSs, data conversion, project development methodology, and technical project/systems management.
Brian Bailey, Director, Northern Virginia
Brian has overall accountability for operations, client engagements, recruiting, and marketing for Northern Virginia, Suburban Maryland, and the District of Columbia. He is also the technical architect of SevaCM, The Seva Group's site management package solution. Brian has over fifteen years in the IT consulting industry with extensive experience in project management, database design and performance tuning, and data warehouse implementation. He came to The Seva Group after serving in various management roles at Perspective Technology Corporation and Andersen Consulting.
Lisa Nugent, Human Resource Manager
Lisa has served in varied roles since Seva’s first year in business. As Organization Development Manager, she established the company’s human resources systems and practices. After a leave of absence, she returned to provide organization development consulting expertise for some of Seva’s clients. Now as Human Resources Manager, Lisa continues to ensure that all HR activities contribute to the achievement of business goals. She is responsible for compensation, benefits, employee relations, policies and procedures and provides oversight for performance management and training and development. Prior to joining the company, she was a manager within Andersen Consulting’s Human Capital – Change Management practice and an HR Development Specialist within a large networking and telecommunications firm. In 1993, Lisa earned a Masters in International Business Studies degree with a concentration in Human Resources Management and Japanese from the University of South Carolina.
Patrick Norton, Lead Consultant
Pat joined The Seva Group in September of 1998 and serves as a Lead Consultant and member of the Leadership team. His technology background; ability to quickly understand business processes; and management experience make him a well-rounded resource to clients. Graduating with a B.A. from the University of Maryland, Pat worked as a developer team lead for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) prior to coming to Seva. In his role as a Lead Consultant, Pat is responsible for providing strategic consulting, managing client relationships and engaging in day-to-day project activities including requirements gathering, database and application design, development, testing, and implementation.
